Meta introduces AI video tools to enhance advertising on Facebook and Instagram
Meta Platforms Inc. is introducing new AI tools for advertisers to simplify video creation and editing. These features will allow advertisers to convert static images into video ads and automatically adjust video sizes. They will be available broadly next year. The company has been enhancing its AI offerings, previously enabling automatic creation of text and images for ads. Last month, over 15 million ads were created using Meta’s generative AI tools, reflecting a growing focus on video content. To further engage users, Meta is adding a new video feed to Facebook, featuring full-screen videos, Reels, and livestreams. Currently, users spend 60% of their time on Facebook and Instagram watching videos.
