Meta launches Movie Gen, a new AI video generator to compete with OpenAI's Sora

Meta has introduced a new AI video generator called Movie Gen, which can create videos and audio from text prompts. It can also edit existing footage and images, adding sound effects and music. Movie Gen can produce 1080p videos up to 16 seconds long and audio clips up to 45 seconds.
