Metrocentre to welcome new Greggs and Newcastle United store before Christmas

The Metrocentre in Newcastle will soon welcome two new large stores: a fourth Greggs bakery and a flagship Newcastle United merchandise shop. Both are set to open in Upper Town Square before Christmas. The new Greggs will be more than double the size of its current largest location, featuring a modern design and seating for 89 customers. The Newcastle United store will offer official merchandise, including items from their new kit sponsor, Adidas. This development comes alongside River Island's major refurbishment of its largest store in the North East, enhancing the shopping experience at Metrocentre.
