A man has been arrested for a shooting incident in Joliet that injured three people. Michael Gallegos, 34, is facing multiple charges, including aggravated battery with a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition. The shooting happened late Saturday night during an argument at a gathering on Sunmeadow Drive. Police say Gallegos shot a 38-year-old man, who suffered a serious gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was rushed to a hospital in a private vehicle. In addition to the main victim, stray bullets injured two women. A 55-year-old woman was shot in the ankle, while a 32-year-old woman was grazed in the thigh. Both of these women received treatment at a hospital and have since been released.
