Michael Hector joins Baller League's SDS FC team
Michael Hector, a Jamaican soccer player, has joined SDS FC in the Baller League. This move comes just days after he announced a shift to Dagenham & Redbridge. The Baller League will also expand to the UK and USA after its success in Germany. Hector started his career at Reading and signed with Chelsea in 2015 for about £4 million. He played a key role in helping Fulham get promoted to the Premier League during the 2019/20 season. Despite his early potential, Hector had limited impact at Chelsea and has been loaned out numerous times throughout his career. As a centre-back, Hector brings a lot of experience to the Baller League. At 32 years old, he has played for various teams, including Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham, and has represented Jamaica internationally since 2015. The Baller League UK kicks off on March 24, 2025, featuring matches on 11 consecutive Monday nights. A live draft night for team managers will take place on March 10. The competition introduces unique rule twists in its final minutes, like a three vs three format and special scoring rules. Fans can watch the matches live on Sky Sports, with broadcasting also available on NowTV. The league is organized by well-known personalities like KSI, who will lead the UK version, along with football legends assisting as managers.
