Michael Jordan's mansion struggles to find tenants
Michael Jordan's former mansion is now facing significant challenges after being sold. The mansion, once valued at $29 million, became difficult to sell, leading to price reductions. Eventually, it was listed at $14.89 million, but businessman John Cooper bought it for even less, at $9.5 million. Cooper is now struggling to find tenants for the property. Initially listed for rent at $230,000 a month, he had to lower the price to $150,000 due to low interest from renters. Growing up as a fan of Jordan, Cooper saw an opportunity to own the home of his favorite player. He shared that he thought it would be a fun experience for whoever bought it. He has since renamed the mansion Champions Point. Cooper hopes to attract renters by advertising the property as a unique chance to live in a sports-themed house. Despite the challenges he faces, he remains optimistic about turning the mansion into something special for fans and future tenants.
