The Michelin Guide has removed Houston restaurant Kâu Ba from its Bib Gourmand list just days after its recognition. The restaurant closed permanently before the guide's inspection teams visited. Michelin stated that further investigation revealed Kâu Ba had been closed for several weeks. The restaurant was known for its Vietnamese-Cajun cuisine and was selected for offering great food at a good value. Kâu Ba's location will soon become Alora, a new Peruvian Vietnamese-inspired restaurant, set to open in late December. The assets of Kâu Ba were purchased by Louis Lamson Quy and partners.
