Michigan high school girls basketball finals this weekend
The high school girls basketball season is reaching its climax. The final four teams in each division are set to compete for state championships in Michigan this weekend. All games will take place at Michigan State University's Breslin Center. In Division 1, the semifinals will feature Belleville against West Bloomfield at noon, followed by Wayne Memorial playing Rockford at 2 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 12:15 p.m. For Division 2, the semifinals include Frankenmuth versus Tecumseh at 5:30 p.m. Grand Rapids West Catholic will face Detroit Edison at 7:30 p.m. The championship game will occur on Saturday at 6:15 p.m. Division 3 will see its semifinals on Thursday with Calumet taking on Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest at noon. Ypsilanti Arbor Prep will compete against Niles Brandywine at 2 p.m. The championship is set for Saturday at 4 p.m. In Division 4, Ewen-Trout Creek will play Concord at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Fowler faces Genesee Christian at 7:30 p.m. The championship for this division is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday.
