Michigan man's pumpkin photo featured on Jones Soda
A Michigan man, Josh Justice, was surprised to see his photograph on a Jones Soda bottle. The moment was particularly meaningful as it fell on what would have been his sister's 44th birthday. Justice, who lost his sister Stacey Goulet in June 2021, spotted the bottle while shopping in Swartz Creek on March 4. Justice's photograph features his friends, tattoo artists Ílíana Fernandez and Andy Kurth, wearing pumpkins on their heads during a photoshoot in October 2024. The playful image was submitted to Jones Soda and selected as a staff pick for their blueberry bubblegum flavor. For Justice, seeing his work on a soda bottle is a dream come true. He has admired Jones Soda for its unique and artistic labels since childhood. He mentioned that the brand has a whimsical vibe, which matches his photograph perfectly. He works as a support specialist and gallery coordinator at Mott Community College. His passion for photography has led him to capture many well-known bands over the years. He has been recognized as Detroit’s best photographer multiple times and continues to chase his dream in the field. Justice's goals extend beyond concerts and soda bottles; he hopes to see his work featured on products in stores like IKEA. Justice emphasizes the collaborative nature of his photography. He feels grateful for the support of his friends, his wife, and his creative partners in bringing his artistic vision to life.
