The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office will allow personnel to wear Detroit Lions hats and beanies as part of their uniform during the team's playoff run. This is the first time the Lions enter the playoffs as the NFC No. 1 seed. Sheriff Michael Bouchard authorized this change to promote community spirit and camaraderie. He noted similarities between the Lions and his office, highlighting their determination and teamwork. The Lions secured their playoff position with a recent victory over the Minnesota Vikings and will play in the Divisional round on January 18-19 at Ford Field in Detroit.
