Mickey Joe Harte prepares for Dancing with the Stars debut this Sunday

Mickey Joe Harte, a 51-year-old singer-songwriter, is set to make his debut on "Dancing with the Stars" this Sunday. He previously won the RTÉ talent show "You’re A Star" and represented Ireland at the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest. Harte considered the opportunity carefully before accepting, feeling it was the right time to challenge himself. He aims to step out of his comfort zone and embrace a new experience, despite the difficulties of learning dance routines. His family, especially his 84-year-old mother, is supportive. She enjoys the show and prefers watching from home rather than attending live. Harte will perform live on Sundays at 6:30 PM on RTÉ One.
