Microsoft clarified that the delay of its game Avowed is not due to quality issues. Originally set for release this year, the game is now scheduled for February 2025. The company aims to manage its game releases better. Phil Spencer explained that the decision was made to allow players more time with existing titles. He noted that the timing was planned around other major releases, including expansions and new games. Avowed, a first-person RPG set in the Eora world, was announced in July 2020. It will feature over 10 different endings and is expected to be similar in length to The Outer Worlds.
