Microsoft to end support for Office apps on Windows 10 in October 2025
Microsoft will stop supporting Microsoft 365 apps on Windows 10 after October 14, 2025. This date aligns with the end of support for Windows 10 itself. Users will need to upgrade to Windows 11 to continue receiving support. While the apps will still function after the cutoff, Microsoft warns of potential performance and reliability issues over time. The company emphasizes the importance of upgrading to Windows 11 this year. Windows 11 adoption remains slow, partly due to strict hardware requirements. Microsoft has stated that older machines will not be able to upgrade, pushing users to consider purchasing new PCs.
