Miguel Angel Jiménez wins Hoag Classic for 2025
Miguel Angel Jiménez won the Hoag Classic with a strong final round of 67, finishing without any bogeys. This victory marks his second win of the 2025 season on the PGA TOUR Champions, making him the first player to win twice this year. At 61 years old, Jiménez captured his 15th career title in 188 starts on the Champions Tour. He has now moved up to 18th place on the all-time wins list for the tour. This win also elevates him to the top of the Charles Schwab Cup standings for the second time this season. He has had five seasons with multiple wins on the Champions Tour previously. Jiménez's winning percentage has improved to nearly 8%, keeping him seventh on the all-time percentage list for players with ten or more wins. The Hoag Classic was his first victory at this event after seven attempts. He also matched the season's low 54-hole score of 198, previously set by Ernie Els. This victory makes him one of only 24 players to win at age 61 or older in Champions history.
