Mike Milligan, writer and producer of 'The Jeffersons' and 'All in the Family', dies at 77
Mike Milligan, a notable American TV writer and producer, has died at the age of 77. He passed away from acute respiratory failure at his home in West Los Angeles on December 20. Milligan was known for his work on iconic shows like “All in the Family” and “The Jeffersons.” He collaborated with Jay Moriarty on several successful series, earning an NAACP Image Award for their contributions to “The Jeffersons.” Born on January 28, 1947, Milligan graduated from Loyola Marymount University and served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, son, sister, and five granddaughters.
