Jhabar Singh Kharra, the Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing, spoke to the Assembly on Wednesday. He confirmed that the Jodhpur High Court's directives have not been violated in land use changes over the past three years. Kharra addressed concerns raised by Assembly members. He stated that the government has followed the High Court's orders strictly. He assured that no land use changes were approved against these guidelines. The minister also mentioned a specific complaint about changing land use from a warehouse to residential in the Pilibanga area. He promised that this matter would be investigated within a month. If any violations are found, the appropriate actions will be taken. Kharra highlighted recent amendments to the Rajasthan Urban Land Use Change Rules, which were notified in February and November 2024.
