They expressed their outrage and called for better safety measures in public transport. Union Minister of Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy and Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar asked their party in the state to ensure the victim receives top-quality treatment at a city hospital. The BJP's women’s wing president, Shilpa Reddy, along with local MLAs, visited the victim at Gandhi Hospital. They offered her and her family support during this difficult time. The victim has since been moved to a private hospital for further care. Shilpa Reddy emphasized that crimes against women are rising under the current government. She called for the establishment of fast-track courts to handle these cases more quickly and for increased security on public transport. Additionally, officials from the South Central Railway (SCR) visited the hospital to check on the victim's condition.
