Missing French bulldogs found dead in Alaska crab pots
Two French bulldogs, Yoda and Whiskey, have been found dead inside crab pots in Alaska after going missing for over a month. The dogs were located during a routine inspection near Thorne Bay on Friday. Their owner, Kane Martin, believes they were taken and killed as part of a personal vendetta. Yoda and Whiskey disappeared on February 13 while accompanying Martin and his brother to a logging worksite. The family suspected foul play after their extensive search efforts returned no results. Kane Martin mentioned that local authorities suspect the incident may be personal. However, no suspects have been identified at this time. The couple expressed their disbelief and grief over the loss of their pets. Esther Martin described Yoda and Whiskey as sweet dogs who loved everyone. They had been a part of the family since June and regularly went to work with Martin. The Martins are devastated by the news and had previously hoped the dogs would return on their own. In light of the tragedy, they have offered a $2,500 reward for any information regarding the case and are still seeking answers.
