MLW's Battle Riot VII moves to Long Beach Arena

Next week, Major League Wrestling (MLW) will host its popular event, Battle Riot VII, in Los Angeles. Due to high demand, MLW has moved the event to the larger Thunder Studios Arena in Long Beach, California. The main event will feature a 40-man Battle Riot match where Matt Riddle will defend his MLW World Heavyweight Championship against 39 competitors, including actor and MLW Executive Producer Paul Walter Hauser. This event marks Hauser's second participation in the Battle Riot. He has learned valuable lessons from his first experience last year. He mentioned that he has improved his awareness in the ring and knows the roster better, which could help him form strategies with other wrestlers. Hauser reflected on his first Battle Riot match, recalling some painful moments, including being hit hard and almost being eliminated while attempting a signature move. He aims to make a stronger impact this time and hopes to win some championships, especially after suffering losses against the Rogue Horsemen. In addition to his goals in the ring, Hauser discussed what he believes is the best heel turn in wrestling history. He mentioned Hulk Hogan's turn at Bash at the Beach 1996 as a memorable moment for him. He also expressed interest in seeing wrestler Swerve Strickland embrace a heel character in the future.
