Moeller quarterback Matt Ponatoski wins Division I state offensive player of the year award

Moeller junior quarterback Matt Ponatoski has been named the Division I state offensive player of the year. This award follows his recent recognition as Ohio’s Mr. Football and Gatorade Ohio Player of the Year. Ponatoski had an impressive season, completing 281 of 405 passes for 4,217 yards and 57 touchdowns. He also contributed to Moeller's success, leading the team to the Division I state final, where they finished as runners-up. This marks the second consecutive year that a Moeller player has received the Mr. Football award, following Jordan Marshall's win in 2023. Ponatoski is also a standout baseball player at Moeller.
