Mogwai and Lankum to perform at South Facing 2025
Mogwai has announced a major outdoor concert in London for the South Facing 2025 festival. They will perform with Irish band Lankum. This event is scheduled for August 7 at Crystal Palace Park. This concert will be the only summer performance in the UK for Mogwai in 2025. It will also mark Lankum's only London show that year. Mogwai recently released their 11th studio album called "The Bad Fire," featuring songs like "Fanzine Made Of Flesh." Both bands are part of a larger lineup for the festival, which includes artists like Nile Rodgers, Basement Jaxx, and Skepta. So far, the festival has announced several acts performing on different dates throughout August. Mogwai will finish their North American tour in May before heading to the UK. Meanwhile, Lankum has been gaining popularity after being nominated for the 2023 Mercury Prize with their album "False Lankum." Next week, Mogwai will also participate in the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival in Greater Manchester, alongside other notable artists. Tickets for the South Facing festival are available now.
