Mohammed Shami returns to India's T20 squad for series against England
Mohammed Shami has been selected for India's T20 series against England, starting January 22 in Kolkata. This marks his return to the national team after recovering from ankle surgery following the 2023 World Cup final. Sanju Samson will be the first-choice wicketkeeper, with Dhruv Jurel named as the second keeper. Rishabh Pant is not included in the squad. Shami last played for India in the World Cup final and has since participated in domestic tournaments. He missed the recent tour of Australia due to knee swelling.
