Monaco Grand Prix secures new Formula 1 deal through 2031
The Monaco Grand Prix will continue to be part of the Formula 1 calendar until 2031, following a new agreement. The race, known for its challenging narrow streets, was previously set to be reviewed after 2025. Under the new deal, the Monaco GP will move from its traditional late-May date to the first weekend of June starting in 2026. This change will prevent a scheduling conflict with the Indianapolis 500. Monaco has reportedly agreed to pay a higher sanctioning fee to secure its place in F1. The race's commercial prospects have improved due to F1's partnership with luxury brand LVMH, which will enhance its visibility.
