Monaco Grand Prix secures spot on F1 calendar until 2031 with new funding agreement
The Monaco Grand Prix will remain on the Formula One calendar until at least 2031, following a new agreement that doubles the principality's annual contribution to £25 million. The race date will shift from late May to the first week of June starting in 2026. However, the track layout will remain unchanged despite challenges with overtaking opportunities. This deal was finalized after a meeting between Prince Albert of Monaco and F1 chief executive Stefano Domenicali. The agreement marks a smoother negotiation compared to previous discussions.
