A former teacher in Montclair, New Jersey, has filed a lawsuit after being fired for seeking help for her depression. She claims the Montclair Board of Education broke federal and state laws by not accommodating her condition. The teacher worked in special education and was hired in 2019. In her lawsuit, she says the school board violated the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act.
