Montclair walking tour at Rosedale Cemetery on April 6

The Montclair History Center is offering a walking tour of Rosedale Cemetery on April 6. The tour will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. This event will focus on the cemetery's new section, which showcases a unique approach to caring for the deceased. The guided tour will be led by Angelica Diggs, the executive director, and volunteer Jane Eliasof. They will discuss the symbolism on graves and share stories about the people buried there. The tour begins outside the Rosedale Chapel and includes a walk of about 2 miles through the grounds. Tickets are priced at $20 per person and must be purchased in advance.
