Most voters ready to accept 2024 election results but doubt Trump will, poll shows
Summary: A recent ABC News/Ipsos poll shows that 86% of registered voters are ready to accept the results of the 2024 election as legitimate. This figure is consistent with previous months and has increased from 79% in October 2020.
Despite this readiness, two-thirds of voters believe former President Donald Trump will not accept the election outcome. In contrast, only 30% think Vice President Kamala Harris will reject the results. Among Trump supporters, 81% still say they will accept the outcome.
Concerns about the electoral process remain, especially among Trump supporters, with 54% expressing doubts about vote counting accuracy. However, 69% of those lacking confidence in the count still plan to accept the election results.
