Mother and son arrested for murder in Aurora

A mother and her son have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Aurora, Colorado. Police took 45-year-old Laneidra Williams-Whitehead and her 24-year-old son, Jamir Williams, into custody on Saturday night. They are suspected of first-degree murder. The charges stem from a shooting that occurred at an apartment complex on Friday night. The victim, whose identity has not been revealed, was found by a neighbor. The neighbor heard noises from upstairs and went to check. After discovering the victim, they called for help. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Williams-Whitehead was in a relationship with the victim, according to police. The apartment complex is located in the 17100 block of East Adriatic Drive, near Horseshoe Park.
