Motorbike rider arrested in Cavan for false plates

A motorbike rider was arrested in Cavan after speeding and attempting to evade police. The driver made an "instant U-turn" when they spotted Gardaí officers on patrol. The incident occurred in Mullagh as the motorbike was seen speeding through a 50 km/h zone. Gardaí quickly stopped the rider after the U-turn and checked the vehicle’s registration. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the motorbike had false plates. The driver was found to be serving a six-year disqualification from driving at the time of the stop.
