MS Dhoni supports Sudeep Tyagi's injury recovery efforts
Sudeep Tyagi, a former player for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), has shared his experience of receiving support from MS Dhoni during his recovery from injuries. Tyagi had a stress fracture in his back followed by a shoulder injury that required surgery. Dhoni, who was CSK's captain at the time, instructed the team to help Tyagi financially. CSK covered all costs for Tyagi’s training and recovery in Australia, which eased his burden. Tyagi recalled that Dhoni told him not to worry about the injuries and that he would make a strong comeback. Tyagi praised Dhoni for his innovative thinking, especially when he decided to open the bowling with spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. This was a surprising move, as no other captain had done it before. Tyagi noted that this decision highlighted Dhoni's unique outlook on the game. In his career, Tyagi had significant moments, including taking five wickets in the 2009 IPL season. He is also remembered for dismissing AB de Villiers for a golden duck, an achievement he discussed with Dhoni before that match. Tyagi's admiration for Dhoni and his leadership style remains strong.
