This makes Reliance Industries India’s most valuable company, surpassing others like HDFC Bank and Tata Consultancy Services. The overall market trend in India has contributed to this substantial financial gain. In total, the top nine valued firms in India added Rs 3,06,243.74 crore to their market valuations in the past week. Both ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel played key roles in this surge. The Bombay Stock Exchange saw its benchmark index rise by 3,076.6 points, while the NSE Nifty climbed by 953.2 points, reflecting a strong positive shift in the stock market. As of March 23, 2025, Mukesh Ambani's net worth is now $95.5 billion, making him the richest person in India and Asia, and the 18th richest in the world, according to Forbes. Reliance’s market capitalisation had increased by Rs 66,985.25 crore just the week before, showing a consistent pattern of growth.
