Multiple arrests reported in Groton City and Town
Several individuals were charged with various offenses in Groton City and Groton Town over the weekend and into the following week. In Groton City, Tanin Daniels, 46, was charged with operating an unregistered vehicle and using drug paraphernalia. He also failed to obey a stop sign. Wayne A. Rawls, 60, was charged with driving under the influence and other traffic violations. Colin Gaughran, 38, was charged with multiple offenses, including driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance. Meghan Albertson, 41, was charged with drug paraphernalia use and controlled substance possession. In Groton Town, Igor Bermeo-Castro, 25, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court. Charles Boyd, 64, violated a protective order, while Joseph Silva, 49, faced charges for larceny and also failed to appear in court. Peter Mazzarella, 33, was charged with harassment and violating a restraining order. Lori Comeau, 59, was charged with sixth-degree larceny.
