Multiple fires in Nagpur cause significant damage
Nagpur firefighters responded to multiple fires from Friday to Saturday, including incidents at a popular eatery and a bank. The fires caused damage exceeding Rs32 lakh, but no injuries were reported. A significant fire at Ram Bhandar sweet shop destroyed materials worth Rs20 lakh. Another fire at a tyre factory caused Rs10,000 in damage. Firefighters also rescued a bull and a dog from wells during this period. On Saturday, a major fire on Besa-Pipla road damaged items worth Rs12 lakh. A fire at the State Bank of India branch resulted in Rs70,000 in losses. Additional fires were reported at shops and garbage piles.
