Mumbai man caught with fake Bhasma Aarti permit

A man from Mumbai, Raunak Parmar, was caught trying to enter the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain with a fake entry permit for the Bhasma Aarti. He was with nine friends, all of whom had valid permits. The incident occurred on Saturday, March 22. Ujjain police were conducting thorough checks at the temple entrance when they noticed Raunak and his group behaving suspiciously. Security personnel investigated their documents, leading to the discovery of Raunak's forged permit. They called for assistance from the Mahakal police, who detained the group for further questioning. Raunak admitted to creating the fake permit by altering a friend’s original document using computer software. He was caught before he could use the fake ID to enter the temple. This incident is not isolated. A couple from Noida had previously attempted a similar fraud by using a doctored permit. Due to these occurrences, temple security has been strengthened to prevent unauthorized entries.
