Mumford & Sons perform sold-out concert in Los Angeles
Mumford & Sons held a sold-out concert at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Thursday night. The show came just one week before the release of their first full-length album in seven years, titled Rushmere. The band played for an hour and a half, featuring a mix of new songs and classic hits. The set included surprise guests, such as Ed Helms, who joined the band on stage to play the banjo. Frontman Marcus Mumford introduced Helms during the song "Awake My Soul." The audience enjoyed a lively performance with string lights and horn players backing the band. Earlier this year, Mumford & Sons expressed excitement about their new album on Instagram. They said these past two years have been very productive for them, and they are eager to share their music, starting with Rushmere. The concert featured new tracks, including “Malibu” and “Rushmere." The band also played popular songs like “Little Lion Man,” “Delta,” and “Babel.” For the encore, they were joined by Cunningham and Dawes before closing the show with “I Will Wait.” Mumford mentioned this tour as “the tour before the tour.” The band will continue performing in Chicago, Toronto, and New York, and then head to Europe with stops in London, Bristol, and Dublin.
