In Calangute, Goa, a love triangle has ended in tragedy with the murder of 39-year-old Bhavana Tomar from Madhya Pradesh. Tomar was involved with Rahul Maheshwari, 40, who also had a relationship with Tomar's cousin, Rashmi Solanki, 43. Police reported that both women were cousins and had been romantically linked to Maheshwari. The situation escalated on March 15, when Maheshwari and Solanki entered Tomar's hotel room at the Raaj Inn. CCTV footage captured them leaving the room about 40 minutes later, carrying Tomar's bag. The next day, hotel staff alerted police due to a strong odor coming from the room. Upon entering, officers found Tomar's body, with her legs bound and mouth gagged. Police suspect she was smothered during a confrontation. Following their investigation, police arrested Maheshwari in Delhi and Solanki in Indore. During questioning, they claimed they visited Tomar to persuade her to let them marry. Both suspects are now in police custody while authorities continue their investigation.
