Murder suspect captured in Philadelphia after Bridgeton stabbing
A man has been arrested in connection with a murder in Bridgeton, New Jersey. Kenneth D. Tripline, 36, was captured by the U.S. Marshals Service and Temple University police in Philadelphia. The arrest follows a stabbing that occurred on March 11. Bridgeton police responded to a report of someone kicking a door on South Avenue and found 28-year-old Elliot Q. Handy with serious stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital but unfortunately died from his injuries. Tripline has been charged with murder and related weapon offenses. The local police chief stated that the incident seems to be isolated and that the two men were known to each other. Tripline is currently waiting to be extradited back to New Jersey.
