Mushroom statue of Donald Trump appears and is quickly removed in New York park
A satirical mushroom statue of Donald Trump appeared in New York's Donald J. Trump State Park on Monday. The statue, resembling a phallic column topped with a gold mushroom, references comments made by Stormy Daniels in her 2018 memoir. This statue is part of a series of Trump-themed artworks that have emerged in various U.S. cities, including Washington, D.C., Portland, and Philadelphia. The New York statue was removed less than 24 hours after its installation. Other recent installations include human-sized gold Trump figures with plaques criticizing him, and a poop monument near the U.S. Capitol. The identity of the artists behind these works remains unknown.
