Andy Paley, a musician and producer known for his work with Brian Wilson and on the "SpongeBob SquarePants" soundtrack, died at 72 from cancer. His death was announced on Wednesday. Paley produced Wilson's acclaimed 1988 solo album and the soundtrack for Warren Beatty's "Dick Tracy." He also collaborated with various artists throughout his career, including Madonna and Jerry Lee Lewis. Born in 1952, Paley was part of the Paley Brothers band and later worked on numerous film soundtracks. He is survived by his wife, two sons, and siblings.
