Mustang Energy conducts survey to improve exploration in Saskatchewan
Mustang Energy Corp. has hired Axiom Exploration Group to perform an airborne geophysical survey over its Spur Project in Saskatchewan. This survey aims to identify electromagnetic and radiometric anomalies and improve geological interpretations for future exploration. The aerial survey is set to begin in early May 2025. It will cover areas not previously explored with modern survey techniques. Mustang Energy also applied for exploration permits for ground activities, including drilling and geophysical surveys, for both the Spur Project and another project known as 914W. The company plans to start these activities pending permit approval. The Spur Project is located south of the Athabasca Basin, an area known for its rich uranium deposits. The property spans about 17,929 hectares and shows potential for uranium, thorium, and rare earth elements. Adjacent properties have reported high-grade uranium samples, adding to the project's attractiveness. Mustang Energy has a significant land position in the Athabasca Basin, covering a total of 77,318 hectares. It focuses on developing high-potential uranium and critical mineral assets in the region. The company advises that while there are promising results nearby, they do not guarantee similar outcomes for its own projects.
