Nagpur police seal shops linked to rioters in Mominpura

Nagpur city police have sealed two shops in the Mominpura area after finding that they were used by rioters. The shops are rented to Sheikh Ashrafi Farooq and Shaheen Hamid. Officials confirmed that letters showing the shops' addresses linked them to the rioters. The two shops are part of a group of 15 properties owned by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) that have been rented out for over forty years. NMC's market department helped the police during the sealing process. Now, NMC is investigating all lease agreements in Mominpura. This action aims to identify any violations and stop the misuse of municipal properties in the future.
