Nara Lokesh, the Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resources Development, plans to visit Atmakur in July. During this visit, he will inaugurate new facilities and lay the foundation for several projects. Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, the Minister for Endowments and a local legislator, invited Lokesh to open the new ITI building in Sangam. Currently, the ITI operates from a temporary location in Atmakur. The new building, donated by the Lanco group, will provide a permanent space for the institute. It is also intended to be adapted for use as an educational institution during vacations. Additionally, Reddy shared plans to upgrade a 100-bedded hospital in Atmakur to a 200-bedded District Government Hospital over the next two years. The upgrades will add 50 beds each year. Though formal announcements are pending, Minister for Health Satya Kumar Yadav is expected to provide details soon. The BC Girls Residential School will also receive an upgrade and will include a Junior College, pending government approval. Reddy is seeking support from local MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and MLC Beeda Ravichandra to help move these projects forward.
