NASCAR lowers ticket prices for Chicago Street Race
NASCAR will host a smaller Chicago Street Race on July Fourth weekend, featuring fewer concerts, reduced ticket prices, and a quicker setup. The Cup Series race will now air on cable channel TNT instead of NBC. The Zac Brown Band will perform after the Xfinity Series race, marking a shift from previous years with multiple acts. The race start time is moved to 1 p.m., 2.5 hours earlier than last year, to avoid rain delays. Ticket prices have decreased significantly, with general admission starting at $99, down from last year's prices. The most expensive seats are now $1,300, compared to $3,000 last year.
