National Music Centre partners with Bruce Springsteen Archives to enhance cultural exchange

The National Music Centre (NMC) in Calgary has formed its first international partnership with the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music (BSACAM) and Steven Van Zandt's TeachRock. This collaboration aims to enhance cultural exchange and share Canadian music stories in the U.S. and beyond. BSACAM, which preserves Bruce Springsteen's legacy, will work with NMC to co-develop exhibitions and educational programs. The partnership will highlight the connections between Canadian and American music, showcasing how artists from both countries have influenced each other. Upcoming initiatives include a symposium on cultural synergies and a traveling exhibition planned for 2026-2027, coinciding with BSACAM's relocation to a new facility.
