National Sanskrit University recognized for Sanskrit preservation efforts

At the 4th convocation ceremony of the National Sanskrit University (NSU), Padma Shri V.R. Panchamukhi praised the institution for its role in preserving the Sanskrit language. He spoke virtually as the chief guest and highlighted NSU’s growth and contributions to Indian intellectual heritage. Panchamukhi emphasized that the university maintains the ancient language while incorporating modern scientific principles. He congratulated the students who received their degrees and shared his joy at having served as Chancellor in the past. NSU Chancellor N. During the ceremony, Pro Vice-Chancellor G.S.R. Krishnamurthy announced that 75 students were graduating, including those earning PhDs and various master's and bachelor's degrees. A total of 565 students qualified in various courses this year. Several books and journals were launched, including 'Siddhanta Chintamani' and 'Mahasvini', highlighting the university's dedication to research. Gold medals were awarded to top students, recognizing their outstanding academic achievements in different programs.
