Nationwide Building Society has announced that it will end its £175 switching bonus for current accounts after March 31. Customers have only a few days left to claim this incentive. The bank's switching offer has been very popular, according to their latest report. Nationwide has been recognized for having the highest number of new customers gained through account switching compared to other banks. To get the £175 bonus, customers must fully switch to a Nationwide account using the Current Account Switch Service. They need to transfer at least two active direct debits to their new account. Additionally, customers must deposit £1,000 and make at least one debit card payment within 31 days of opening the account. New customers can apply for a Nationwide account through the bank's website or mobile app. Current Nationwide customers can also switch their accounts from other banks online, but they must complete the switch within 28 days. Nationwide offers three main current accounts. The FlexPlus account includes family travel insurance and other benefits for £18 a month. The FlexDirect account provides 5% interest and cashback on debit card spending. Finally, the FlexAccount is a standard everyday account with no fees. Tom Riley, a director at Nationwide, mentioned the bank returned £385 million to its members last year and continues to rank first in customer satisfaction for twelve years. He encouraged people to switch accounts soon to take advantage of the remaining days for the bonus.
