NCET 2025 registration deadline extended to March 31
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension for registrations for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET). This test is for students who want to join a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP). Candidates can now register online until March 31, 2025. The previous deadline was March 16, 2025. The last date to pay the exam fee online is also March 31, 2025, by 11:50 pm. The extension follows requests from students and educational institutions, as many are currently focused on CBSE and other Board examinations. The NCET will take place on April 29, 2025. It will be held in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format across 178 cities and in 13 different languages. The exam will help students gain admission in Central and State Universities, including IITs and NITs, for the 2025-26 academic year. The exam will consist of two main sections: a General Test and Teaching Aptitude. The General Test will cover topics like General Knowledge, Current Affairs, and Logical Reasoning. Teaching Aptitude will focus on areas such as Mathematics and Languages. The questions will be multiple-choice, and the format will test students' reading comprehension and vocabulary skills. This program allows students to specialize in Education along with another chosen discipline.
