NCRPO deploys personnel and resources to assist residents as Typhoon Pepito approaches Manila
The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has deployed 1,137 personnel to assist residents affected by Typhoon Pepito in Metro Manila. This response includes 773 mobility assets, such as trucks and patrol vehicles, for emergency operations. Twenty-six trucks are on standby for search and rescue, while five rubber boats are prepared for flood-prone areas. The NCRPO is coordinating with local governments and disaster agencies to enhance its response efforts. Typhoon Pepito, with maximum winds of 155 km/h, is currently moving towards the coast of La Union and is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility soon.
