NDRRMC remains on high alert as Tropical Storm Marce enters Philippine waters
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) is on high alert as Tropical Storm Marce has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Agencies are monitoring the storm closely. NDRRMC is also preparing additional relief supplies for victims of recent storms Kristine and Leon. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. emphasized the need to support these victims and improve disaster response efforts. As of Monday morning, Marce was located 935 km east of Eastern Visayas, with winds of 65 km/h. No wind signals have been issued yet, but warnings may be raised for parts of Cagayan by Tuesday.
