NDRRMC verifies seven deaths linked to recent tropical cyclones in the Philippines

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) is verifying seven reported deaths linked to recent tropical cyclones in the Philippines. The agency's latest report shows over 3 million people affected by cyclones Nika, Ofel, and Pepito. Currently, 442,857 individuals are displaced, with many in evacuation centers. The affected regions include Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, and the Cordillera Administrative Region. Additionally, one more city has been declared in a state of calamity, raising the total to 21. The government has provided over 143 million pesos in aid to support the impacted communities.
